With over 360,000 views and counting, Lisa Foster’s rendition of the gospel song God Will Work It Out has become an online hit. Her mesmerising voice is the undeniable star of the show; so much so that viewers almost forget she is standing on crutches. Captured during a service at the D’Abadie Seventh-day Adventist Church on May 2, the footage has garnered more than 1,300 reactions and 1,400 comments since hitting Facebook the following day.

Ageing is a part of life and a natural part of living. It’s a gift that many of us take for granted. The majority of the time, when we don’t practice healthy habits and we don’t balance and nourish our bodies with intention, our metabolic age can be older than our actual age. For women, our energy, skin elasticity, bone strength and mental clarity depend on the right foods to nourish our bodies.

Have you ever noticed how some cars look brilliantly glossy for years, while others quickly develop a dull, peeling, or faded appearance? When it comes to restoring your vehicle after an accident or simply giving it a fresh new look to reflect your style, the quality of the paint used is just as important as the skill of the painter. As a vehicle owner, understanding exactly what goes onto your car’s exterior empowers you to protect your investment and maintain its resale value.

Just weeks ago, Joshua Kent had resigned himself to missing his school’s graduation dinner. With his mother’s pending surgery and the family already stretched financially, the 18-year-old had pushed the event off the priority list.

For Marcel Williams, music and ministry go hand-in-hand. The singer-songwriter wants his songs to instil hope in others and bring joy to all who listen.

June Aming, British Trinidadian writer
June Aming remembers Saturday mornings at the corner shop with her mother and sisters. Each child could choose a chocolate bar and a book. Her sisters usually picked titles like Judy for Girls. Aming went straight for Noddy. Soon she was filling copybooks with stories of her own, performing them for her childhood friend Charmaine at mock “book launches.”

Infertility is far more common in Trinidad and Tobago than most people realise, affecting an estimated one in six couples. Yet it remains one of the country’s most quietly endured challenges. Behind closed doors, many navigate uncertainty, misinformation and stigma with little support in an attempt to grow their families. For the past 20-plus years, The Trinidad and Tobago IVF and Fertility Centre (TTIVF) has supported countless families struggling with infertility by helping them conceive the precious gift of new life. The centre has achieved several major feats, including the birth of the first IVF baby in the English-speaking Caribbean in 1997 and the delivery of more than 3,000 babies since 2008.
