Plié for the Arts cel­e­brat­ed its tenth-an­niver­sary re­gion­al tour with the Amal­ga­ma­tion Glob­al Dance Gala.

The 2026 tour opened its first stop in Trinidad and To­ba­go on Au­gust 23 at NA­PA, fea­tur­ing a col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Na­tion­al Phil­har­mon­ic Or­ches­tra of Trinidad & To­ba­go.

Led by artis­tic di­rec­tor and founder Marisa Be­nain, it fea­tures elite dancers from com­pa­nies such as Com­plex­ions Con­tem­po­rary Bal­let, the New York City Bal­let and the Alvin Ai­ley Amer­i­can Dance The­ater, along­side lo­cal and re­gion­al col­lec­tives.

The show then went on to Bar­ba­dos and Ja­maica. Lo­cal dancers Ys­abel Kel­ly-Clarke and Christi­na Good­ing au­di­tioned through Caribbean School of Danc­ing to gain a place in the cast for Sun­day night’s show and were fea­tured in the open­ing dance en­ti­tled Bolero X.
