KINGSTON, Jamaica -Attacking midfielder Tyreek Magee has been called up to the Reggae Boyz squad as Jamaica gears up for their two-match friendly series against Trinidad and Tobago.
Magee, who recently returned from Europe, has been showcasing his skills with Vere United in the Jamaica Premier League (JPL). His inclusion comes on the heels of a narrow 2-1 defeat to defending champions Cavalier on Monday, where he featured prominently.
The 24-year-old midfielder makes his return to the national team after an 11-month absence, having last represented Jamaica in October 2023 during the Concacaf Nations League Group B match against Nicaragua in Managua.
The Reggae Boyz squad is heavily dominated by local talent, with a strong representation from the top JPL teams. Defending champions Cavalier and current league leaders Mount Pleasant have contributed a combined 15 players to the roster.
