The T&T 501 League of Darts launched its 2025 sea­son in spec­tac­u­lar fash­ion on Feb­ru­ary 4, at the home of darts, Kos­mos Club. The league fea­tures 17 teams, di­vid­ed in­to A and B di­vi­sions, bat­tling it out in the ex­cit­ing 501 for­mat.

De­fend­ing A Di­vi­sion cham­pi­ons E-Z Lines faced a tough open­ing chal­lenge against Drifters, with the match end­ing in a nail-bit­ing 5-5 draw in the com­pe­ti­tion host­ed by the T&T Darts As­so­ci­a­tion (TT­DA). The night was packed with dra­ma as Drifters surged to an ear­ly 3-1 lead af­ter the first four legs, stun­ning the reign­ing cham­pi­ons.

E-Z Lines bounced back in the sin­gles round with a show of in­di­vid­ual bril­liance. James Walk­lin lev­elled the match at 3-3 af­ter a dom­i­nant 2-0 vic­to­ry over An­tho­ny Gue­vara, notch­ing a re­mark­able 93.9 av­er­age in the sec­ond leg. The ex­cite­ment con­tin­ued as Drifters re­claimed the lead at 4-3, but Karen Ram­cha­ran re­spond­ed with a mo­ment of mag­ic. She clinched a cru­cial vic­to­ry over Natasha Singh, seal­ing the high­est check­out of the night—122 with a stun­ning sin­gle 18, triple 18, and bulls­eye fin­ish.

Drifters led 5-4 head­ing in­to the fi­nal team game, just one leg away from a mem­o­rable vic­to­ry. But E-Z Lines dug deep, hold­ing on to se­cure a draw. The cham­pi­ons now sit in third place, while Drifters fol­low in fourth.

In oth­er A Di­vi­sion ac­tion, Jus For Fun Vikings earned a hard-fought 6-4 vic­to­ry over ri­vals De Orig­i­nal Game Shot (DOGS). The Vikings burst out of the gates with a 3-1 lead and nev­er looked back. Za­ck Seals de­liv­ered a vi­tal 2-0 win over top-ranked play­er Joshua Bal­four to keep his team on top. Al­though DOGS mount­ed a late come­back, the Vikings held their nerve to claim vic­to­ry and move in­to sec­ond place, leav­ing DOGS in fifth.

Mean­while, new­ly pro­mot­ed Scor­pi­ons had a dream start to life in the top flight, dis­man­tling fel­low new­com­ers Sea Wolves 7-3. This com­mand­ing vic­to­ry puts Scor­pi­ons at the top of the ta­ble af­ter match­day one.

B Di­vi­sion Re­sults

In B Di­vi­sion ac­tion, Bul­lz lead the ta­ble fol­low­ing an em­phat­ic 8-2 win over Triple Vi­sion. Jus For Fun Snipers sit in sec­ond af­ter a sol­id 7-3 vic­to­ry over Shang­hai Bulls, while Pub House Pi­rates round out the top three with a 7-3 win over Ran­dom Squad.

Two new teams made their B Di­vi­sion de­but. Mu­cu­rapo Mus­ke­teers fell 6-4 to Reck­less Darts Team, while Flight­ed Friends made a strong start, edg­ing Top Shot 6-4.
