The mobile-to-mobile service between Bmoblie and Digicel has been fully restored.
This is after Bmobile suffered technical issues that affected voice services to the Digicel network for several hours yesterday.
Customers reported difficulties with calls between Bmobile and Digicel, certain fixed telephone services, and calls to 824-TSTT and *100.
In a statement last evening Bmobile said, "Our team continues to work diligently on restoring the other affected services. Thank you for your continued patience."
Many Facebook users earlier in the day commented at the bottom of Bmobile's post saying it was unacceptable.
One user said, “TSTT, you all need to compensate your customers. This is a big inconvenience. We can’t owe the telecommunications company any money, and an apology is not enough.”
Another said, “TSTT but the company was named T&T’s Fastest and Best Mobile Network by Ookla and now this?”
Digicel updated its customers through social media earlier in the day saying: “Please be advised that at this time, we are currently experiencing issues with calls to TSTT landline numbers. Our technical teams are aware and are working with the other provider to rectify the issue in the shortest timeframe possible.”
