A 42-year-old man escaped a shooting with minor cuts as he drove through San Juan on Tuesday night.
Police said the man was driving through Hillview Drive, Laventille Road around 7.30 pm when he noticed a blue coloured Nissan Almera parked at the side of the road.
He then noticed that two gunmen coming out of the car and opening fire on him, damaging the front and rear windscreens, the left rear window and the fuel tank.
The man received several cuts from broken glass on both legs as he sped off to the San Juan Police Station.
Police took the man to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex but he refused treatment.
Officers of the North Eastern Division CID and the crime scene investigation unit also visited the scene and found three spent 5.56 mm shells.
San Juan police are continuing enquiries.
