Of­fi­cers at­tached to the Point Fortin po­lice sta­tion seized a gun, am­mu­ni­tion and drugs dur­ing an an­ti-crime ex­er­cise on Wednes­day.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, the op­er­a­tion was con­duct­ed un­der the au­thor­i­ty of the cur­rent State of Emer­gency reg­u­la­tions.

Dur­ing the ex­er­cise, of­fi­cers searched the home of a male 33-year-old pri­or­i­ty of­fend­er along Pan­go­la Road in Point Fortin, where they found an AR15 Ri­fle, sev­en rounds of 5.56mm am­mu­ni­tion with a mag­a­zine, and 250 cannabis plants in a hy­dro­pon­ic grow lab.
