A lit­tle more than two weeks away from re­tir­ing and amid ru­mours about the na­ture of his fi­nal for­eign trip as Prime Min­is­ter, Dr Kei­th Row­ley with a gen­uine, beam­ing smile held his wife, Sharon Row­ley, close­ly in a pic­ture he shared on his Face­book page yes­ter­day.

The well-dressed cou­ple took the pic­ture with a back­drop of a Cal­i­for­nia wa­ter­front.

The post was cap­tioned “In a good good spir­it,” a lyric from Full Blown’s so­ca hit Good Spir­it.

The song ref­er­ence was ac­com­pa­nied by the mes­sage, “Wish­ing you a safe and hap­py Car­ni­val.”

The Prime Min­is­ter and his wife left for the Unit­ed States on Thurs­day on a pri­vate trip. A re­turn date was not stat­ed by the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter.

Some news­pa­per pub­li­ca­tions spec­u­lat­ed that Dr Row­ley was trav­el­ling on a doc­tor’s vis­it, but there has been no con­fir­ma­tion of such.
