The Ministry of Health is meeting with stakeholders on Tuesday, to determine if pregnant women will be allowed to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech's Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine.
This, according to the Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh at Monday's virtual news briefing.
The Minister says if consensus is reached, the policy could be announced as early as Wednesday.
The stakeholders involved in the meeting include the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO), the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), and obstetrician-gynaecologists in both the public and private sectors.
