The Min­istry of Health is meet­ing with stake­hold­ers on Tues­day, to de­ter­mine if preg­nant women will be al­lowed to re­ceive the Pfiz­er-BioN­Tech's Comir­naty COVID-19 vac­cine.

This, ac­cord­ing to the Min­is­ter of Health Ter­rence Deyals­ingh at Mon­day's vir­tu­al news brief­ing.

The Min­is­ter says if con­sen­sus is reached, the pol­i­cy could be an­nounced as ear­ly as Wednes­day.

The stake­hold­ers in­volved in the meet­ing in­clude the Pan Amer­i­can Health Or­gan­i­sa­tion (PA­HO), the Caribbean Pub­lic Health Agency (CARPHA), and ob­ste­tri­cian-gy­nae­col­o­gists in both the pub­lic and pri­vate sec­tors.
