The new Courts Mega­s­tore has been opened with much fan­fare.

Two Sun­days ago, ex­act­ly one week fol­low­ing the open­ing of the new Mega­s­tore in San Juan Courts teamed up with TCL—one of its no­table elec­tron­ics part­ners—to host the TCL View­ing Event. The event was de­signed to show­case TCL’s ad­vanced quan­tum dot mi­ni LED (QD mi­ni LED) tech­nol­o­gy fea­tured in the world’s largest tele­vi­sion—the 115” Mi­ni LED TV, as well as the TCL Art TV.

The event al­so fea­tured a mi­ni con­cert fea­tur­ing mu­si­cal acts such as Free­town Col­lec­tive, Yung Bred­da, Nailah Black­man and Los Alum­nos de San Juan, who en­ter­tained the au­di­ence while the per­for­mances were broad­cast on TCL screens through­out the store. The day al­so in­clud­ed ex­cit­ing TCL-brand­ed prize give­aways and more.

For over 40 years, TCL has grown from lo­cal pi­o­neer to a tru­ly glob­al tech­nol­o­gy leader.

Uni­com­er’s mer­chan­dise and pur­chas­ing man­ag­er for Elec­tri­cal and Elec­tron­ics, Meran­da Ra­moutar, ex­plained the work­ings of the Mi­ni LED tech­nol­o­gy and its ben­e­fits to the view­ing ex­pe­ri­ence. She said, “Mi­ni LED tech­nol­o­gy com­plete­ly changes how a tele­vi­sion looks and feels. In­stead of us­ing one large back­light like tra­di­tion­al TVs, Mi­ni LED us­es thou­sands of tiny lights that turn on and off in­de­pen­dent­ly. This means dark­er blacks, brighter high­lights, and much sharp­er con­trast on screen.”

She con­tin­ued, “Added colour tech­nol­o­gy de­liv­ers rich­er, more re­al­is­tic colours, while pre­ci­sion lens de­sign makes the im­age brighter and clear­er from edge to edge. To­geth­er, these fea­tures make sports feel like you’re right in the sta­di­um and movies feel like a pri­vate cin­e­ma ex­pe­ri­ence.”

Uni­com­er’s cor­po­rate com­mu­ni­ca­tions and pub­lic re­la­tions man­ag­er, Cindy James, elab­o­rat­ed on the pur­pose of the event. She shared, “Our goal with the TCL View­ing Event was to give cus­tomers a first-hand ex­pe­ri­ence of the ex­cep­tion­al qual­i­ty of TCL’s Mi­ni LED tech­nol­o­gy, while al­so thank­ing them with a live pop-up con­cert that sup­ports our so­ca and parang her­itage.” She added, “This event was part two of the Courts Mega­s­tore launch, fol­low­ing the of­fi­cial pre-open­ing cer­e­mo­ny in No­vem­ber.”

The new Courts Mega­s­tore is a for­ward-fo­cused re­tail des­ti­na­tion ded­i­cat­ed to de­liv­er­ing the lat­est in high-qual­i­ty elec­tron­ics along­side ex­cep­tion­al cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ences, Courts said in a re­lease. At the same time, Courts said it re­mains deeply com­mit­ted to sup­port­ing cul­tur­al ex­pres­sion and com­mu­ni­ty en­gage­ment by cre­at­ing spaces where lo­cal tal­ent, cre­ativ­i­ty, and con­nec­tion can thrive.
