A domestic dispute is believed to have ended in one man being stabbed to death and another injured during the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police identified the murder victim as Lennox Williams, 64, a labourer of Central Street, Vistabella.
The wounded man is a 44-year-old nursing assistant who lives at the same address.
Police said around 2 am, a 20-year-old man who also lives on the property was in a bedroom downstairs when he awoke to an altercation upstairs the house.
He alerted his father and went to investigate. He told police when he went upstairs, he saw Williams and the other man bleeding from stab wounds.
Both were taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, where Williams died while receiving emergency attention.
The injured man is in a stable condition, police said.
