Bandits tied up and robbed a Muslim man and his four wives at their Tabaquite home on Tuesday.
The 75-year-old man and his wives, aged 73, 60, 57, and 40, were praying around 4:30 pm when four masked men, wearing gloves and dark clothing, stormed into their home along Guaracara Tabaquite Road.
Armed with a shotgun, pistol, cutlass, and knife, one of the suspects shouted, "Where the money?" The bandits tied the victims' hands and feet and ransacked the house. They stole jewellery and the victims' pink Honda Fit. Later that evening, police recovered the vehicle intact near Stone Road in Tabaquite.
Investigations are ongoing.
