A 75-year-old man and his four wives were tied up and robbed by bandits at their Tabaquite home on Tuesday.
Police said the man and his spouses, aged 73, 60, 57 and 40, were praying at 4.30 pm when four masked men, wearing gloves and dark clothing, stormed into their home along the Guaracara Tabaquite Road.
The bandits were armed with a shotgun, pistol, cutlass and knife.
The victims told police that one of the suspects shouted, “Where the money?”
The men tied the victims’ hands and feet and ransacked the home.
The assailants stole a quantity of jewellery and the victims’ Pink Honda Fit. Later that evening, the police recovered the vehicle intact near Stone Road in Tabaquite.
