Three major T&T-listed companies have announced changes to their boards and senior management, signalling a period of transition across the banking, manufacturing and consumer goods sectors.
According to notices posted on the T&T Stock Exchange, Angostura Holdings Ltd revealed that two new directors would join its board and the boards of its subsidiaries from next month, while First Citizens Group Financial Holdings Ltd confirmed the appointment of two directors following its annual shareholder meeting.
Meanwhile, The West Indian Tobacco Company (WITCO) disclosed a senior management change in its finance division, as its current finance manager moves on to an international role within its parent group.
Angostura said that, effective July 1, 2026, Roger Hay and Michael Rooplal would be appointed as directors of Angostura Holdings Ltd, as well as its subsidiaries Angostura Ltd and Trinidad Distillers Ltd.
The company did not elaborate on the background of the appointees in its regulatory filing, which was made pursuant to the Securities Act and T&T Stock Exchange rules.
In the financial sector, First Citizens Group Financial Holdings Ltd also reported changes at the board level, with Anil Bridglal and Marissa Allum appointed as directors at the company’s fourth annual meeting of shareholders held on June 23, 2026.
The appointments were formalised in a legal notice issued on June 26, indicating shareholder approval of the new directors.
Meanwhile, WITCO announced a shift in its senior management team, disclosing that Finance Manager Johan Grosberg would step down from his role effective July 1, 2026, after accepting an international assignment within the British American Tobacco (BAT) Group.
The company said Grosberg would move on to a new role within the global BAT network, highlighting the mobility of executive talent within multinational organisations.
WITCO has appointed Niall Gunness to succeed Grosberg as Finance Manager, also effective July 1.
In its notice to shareholders, the company expressed appreciation for Grosberg’s contributions during his tenure and extended best wishes for his future role.
