​The shoot­ers helped Barataria PYC com­fort­ably de­feat Uni­ty, 23-8, in the fi­nal on Sat­ur­day at the Wood­brook Youth Fa­cil­i­ty af­ter lead­ing through­out the match. Rogers was al­most per­fect with 13 goals from 14 at­tempts, while Dow net­ted the oth­er 10 goals from 15 tries to keep the Barataria-based team ahead at the end of each quar­ter—10-1 in the first, 12-4 at half­time, and 14-5 in the third—be­fore seal­ing the ti­tle with the 15-goal win.

​For Uni­ty, Shermya Charles net­ted a per­fect five-from-five goals in a los­ing ef­fort.

​Ear­li­er in the day, East­ern Quar­ry Thrillers claimed third place with a hard-fought 13-10 vic­to­ry over Tran­scend Unit­ed. Shoot­ing for the Thrillers were Ky­la Lee Quay (9/10) and Ren­nelle McLeod (4/9).

Goal­shoot­ers Bram­ble and Mc­Collin help Soul City win

​Lat­er, led by na­tion­al shoot­ers Maikea Bram­ble and Kali­fa Mc­Collin, Soul City whipped Car­di­nals, 81-13, in the A Di­vi­sion. Bram­ble, the goal-shoot­er, pro­duced a spec­tac­u­lar 61 goals from 65 at­tempts, while goal-at­tack Mc­Collin fed her shoot­er well and chipped in with 18 from 24 at­tempts.

​In oth­er matchups across the di­vi­sion, Mal­ta Carib Sen­a­tors de­feat­ed Po­lice Net­ball Sec­tion ‘B’ 38-31, while the Po­lice Net­ball Sec­tion ‘A’ unit beat the Po­lice Net­ball Youth Club (PNYC) 35-20. Ad­di­tion­al­ly, Laven­tille Unit­ed suc­cess­ful­ly out­played the Uni­ver­si­ty of the South­ern Caribbean (USC) Hum­mers in a close 36-32 bat­tle.

​In the In­ters Di­vi­sion, Bon Air PYC se­cured a com­mand­ing 38-10 vic­to­ry over Ari­ma Unit­ed, spear­head­ed by Trin­i­ty White (20/36) and Amelia Bar­ton (18/22), af­ter con­trol­ling every quar­ter (8-2, 17-7, 25-9).

​Mean­while, ac­tion in the Men’s Di­vi­sion saw the Mar­velites dom­i­nate Hori­zon in a 50-21 blowout. Arieon Ed­wards was the star of the match, sink­ing 44 goals from 57 at­tempts to keep the Mar­velites com­fort­ably ahead at every pe­ri­od.
