Aggressive left-handed West Indies opener Evin Lewis scored back-to-back hundreds in the ongoing Dream XI T10 Blast at Shaw Park, Tobago on Thursday.

The Marchin Patriots opener hit six sixes and 11 fours as he scored his second consecutive unbeaten hundred, 104 not out from 39 balls to guide Pirates Bay Raiders to their fifth straight match to remain unbeaten with a nine-wicket victory over Store Bay Snorkelers.

Lewis, who did not play in Wednesday’s win over Mt Irvine Surfers, scored 107 not out in Tuesday’s win over Store Bay Snorkelers.

The left-hander who made his return to the West Indies white-ball team last year after a two-year absence hit 11 fours and six sixes in 39 balls as the Raiders successfully chased Store Bay Snorkelers total of 125.

He shared in a 90-run opening partnership with Matheus Komal, who was happy to watch the show from 22 yards. Komal scored just nine runs as Lewis blazed away from the other end.

The Raiders, who won their first four matches, raced to 128 for one in 9.4 overs as they ‘geared down’ at the back end of the innings and hit the winning runs in the fourth ball of the 10th and final over.

Earlier, Kadeem Alleyne hit four fours and five sixes in his 62 as Store Bay Snorkelers reached 125 for three.

Daniel Williams scored 36 in an opening partnership with Alleyne as they put on 59 for the opening partnership in 4.1 overs.

With the win the Raiders go to ten points while the Snorkelers remain on zero points after three matches.

In the second match on Wednesday, Jesse Bootan scored 69 not out as Pigeon Point Skiers scored 118 for two in their ten overs against No Man’s Land Explorers.

Akeil Cooper supported his skipper with 24 for the unbeaten Skiers, who also went into their match unbeaten.

They maintained their unbeaten run when they restricted the Explorers to 71 for nine for a 47-run win.

Clevon Kalawan scored 15 and Teshawn Castro scored 13, but they could not get away from the Skiers’ bowlers.

Nicholas Ali took three for 11 to lead the Skiers’ bowlers dominance as each of the seven bowlers took at least one wicket.

With the win, the Skiers remain second with eight points, as they are also unbeaten in the competition.
