Zachary Julien’s per­for­mance of­fen­sive­ly led Fa­ti­ma Col­lege to both the Boys’ Un­der-20 and U-17 ti­tles in the T&T Schools Bas­ket­ball As­so­ci­a­tion’s El­e­vate 3x3 Se­ries at the South­ern Re­gion­al In­door Sports Are­na in Pleas­antville, San Fer­nan­do on Sat­ur­day.

Julien, who was the top­scor­er in the di­vi­sion with 14 points, helped Fa­ti­ma seal a nar­row 13-11 win over Hillview Col­lege in the U-20 Di­vi­sion fi­nal to end ac­tion in the two-day com­pe­ti­tion. The di­vi­sion fea­tured 10 teams.

In the semi­fi­nals ear­li­er in the day, Fa­ti­ma com­fort­ably beat St Bene­dict’s, 16-5 while los­ing fi­nal­ist Hillview oust­ed Pre­sen­ta­tion, 7-5 in the oth­er match.

The U-17 Di­vi­sion fi­nal, was just as close with Fa­ti­ma, led by Julien, edg­ing Trin­i­ty Col­lege East al­so by a two-point (14-12) mar­gin.

Fa­ti­ma got in­to the ti­tle match in the di­vi­sion, which had 14 teams com­pete, af­ter de­feat­ing St An­tho­ny’s 15-11 while Trin­i­ty East edged St Bene­dict’s, 7-6.

In the bat­tle for third place be­tween the los­ing semi­fi­nal­ists, St An­tho­ny’s topped St Bene­dict’s, 13-11.

Julien was al­so the top­scor­er in this di­vi­sion al­so with 24 points.

The win­ner of the Open Girls com­pe­ti­tion was de­cid­ed on day one of the El­e­vate Se­ries.

Holy Name Con­vent won the ti­tle af­ter sweep­ing Bish­op Anstey High, 2-0, in their best-in-three se­ries on Fri­day.

Asha­ki Charles of Holy Name Con­vent was the top scor­er with eight points.
