The Women Parliamentarians of Trinidad and Tobago (WPTT) has launched the YES! Leadership Programme 2025. The programme, aimed at young women between the ages of 18 and 29, focuses on encouraging them to take on leadership roles, particularly in parliamentary service.
It includes training sessions on professional etiquette, protocol, advocacy, community service, and research. Participants will also receive mentorship from former and current women parliamentarians. The programme will conclude with an all-female simulated parliamentary sitting.
Registration for the YES! Leadership Programme is open from Friday, 17th January 2025, to Wednesday, 12th February 2025.
