Two men were fatally shot on Wednesday night at Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick.
The incident occurred around 8:30 pm when a black Suzuki Swift pulled up and its occupants opened fire.
The primary target, Junior Oliviere, a shop owner in the area, was killed along with Hakim Mitchell, an innocent bystander.
Both victims were taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex by officers from the San Juan CID and the North-Eastern Division Task Force but were both pronounced dead on arrival.
Just hours before that double murder, a 49-year-old man was shot while in the same area and later succumbed to his injuries at hospital.
He was identified as Emerine Harewood of Florencia Lane, Upper 6th Avenue, Malick Barataria.
Harewood was a worker employed with the National Maintenance Training and Security Company.
That incident occurred just after 6 am.
