Assurances are being given by the Tobago Policing Division that none of the 25 murders recorded on the island this year have gone cold.
As the year draws closer to an end, Tobago is facing its bloodiest year yet, with a record-breaking number of homicides.
A senior officer from the Tobago Homicide Bureau told Guardian Media that all 25 cases remain active, although some investigations are progressing faster than others.
However, the senior cop could not confirm whether investigators are close to solving any additional cases.
Guardian Media understands that so far, only three of Tobago’s 25 murders in 2024 have been solved.
