A security guard robbed the Chaguanas membership club he works at, after threatening to bomb it early on Sunday morning.
Police said a worker at the club in Endeavour, was closing up around 1.45 am when she was approached by the guard who handed her a note on which was written, “This is a robbery and there is a bomb in the washroom.”
The guard then told the worker that he had a gun and threatened to shoot her.
The woman handed over a bag of cash as he walked out of the businessplace.
Chaguanas police were called in and are continuing enquiries.
