Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley will tonight launch his cam­paign for the Diego Mar­tin West seat which he holds.

It’s the first roll­out of Peo­ple Na­tion­al Move­ment cam­paign ac­tiv­i­ty ahead of an of­fi­cial par­ty cam­paign launch. That’s ex­pect­ed next week right af­ter Fri­day’s Nom­i­na­tion Day ex­er­cise.

Yes­ter­day, PNM cam­paign man­ag­er Ro­han Sinanan de­clined to say ex­act­ly when the PNM’s cam­paign will be launched be­yond or speak about the Diego Mar­tin West launch, save to say that the par­ty will “put out a sched­ule... it’s an elec­tion so peo­ple won’t re­veal their strate­gies.”

No sched­ule was giv­en via press re­lease but the PNM even­tu­al­ly re­leased word via so­cial me­dia that Row­ley’s launch is on at 7.30 pm tonight via vir­tu­al and elec­tron­ic me­dia plat­forms. No lo­ca­tion was giv­en.

PNM of­fi­cials said Row­ley’s ex­pect­ed to speak about plans for the fu­ture of T&T (as well as Diego Mar­tin West). The PNM is seek­ing to con­tin­ue on in Gov­ern­ment af­ter the Au­gust 10 gen­er­al elec­tions. The UNC is seek­ing to foil that plan.
