A San Fernando man was shot and killed by police at Tarodale in Ste. Madeleine last evening.
He has been identified as Jordan Charles.
Initial reports indicate that around 5 p.m., officers in an unmarked vehicle were responding to a report when they came upon a group of men, including Charles, near 7th and 8th Street, Tarodale.
Police said Charles pointed a gun at the officers, and there was an exchange of gunfire.
A video clip circulating on social media shows two police officers lifting him off the ground into the tray of a police van.
He was taken to San Fernando General Hospital.
