Two suspects are expected to be detained for questioning in connection with an alleged rape of a 34-year-old woman on Friday.
According to a police report, the victim alleged that she and her friend were at a bar in Valsayn when they met the two men, who are related to each other.
The victim said after a few drinks together they left the bar around 9.30 pm and went to a guest house in the St Helena area.
She alleged that she and one of the men went upstairs to a room, then the other suspect allegedly came up to the room minutes after. She said she was raped by both of them.
Police said the suspects have been identified as a 33-year-old man from Santa Rosa and a 29-year-old man of Arima. They are expected to be arrested soon.
