The Ministry of Health is confirming one new death from COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago, bringing the national total to 139 persons.
And in its latest update, the Ministry says there are no new positive cases of COVID-19, with the total number of active cases in the country currently at 143 patients.
In its update for today, Friday 19 February 2021, the Health Ministry also is reporting:
● 16 persons are still hospitalised for COVID-19; down from 18 patients on Thursday.
● 125 persons are in home self-isolation; down from 131 patients on Thursday.
● 279 persons are in State quarantine facilities; down from 321 patients on Thursday.
● 2 patients are still recovering in step/down facilities; no change from Thursday.
