Police arrested a fisherman after seizing 17.3 grammes of cocaine from his home in Erin on Wednesday, which was allegedly hidden in a toilet bowl.
Police said the 40-year-old man claimed he was going to give the drugs to workers as payment for tending to his goats and sheep near his home.
The cocaine consisted of 48 pieces.
He was detained at the Santa Flora Police Station where he was charged by PC Johnitty with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
The man's home was raided during a State of Emergency exercise, between 4 am and 8 am in the Santa Flora and Erin districts by officers of the South Western Division led by Snr Supt Thompson, Supt Sookdeo and ASP Forbes. He is expected to appear in court today.
