A man was robbed after going to meet a stranger he met on Facebook for a business transaction.
It is the third such incident police have been made to investigate in the last two weeks.
Police said the 39-year-old man went to Fadell Circular, Grand Curucaye, Bourg Mulatresse, at 10.30 am on Wednesday to meet a stranger who messaged him and claimed to be interested in buying a flat-screen television the victim advertised for sale.
On reaching the area, the man was confronted by a gunman who stole the television and walked off.
On Monday, three men from South Trinidad were robbed of $31,000 and US$2,500 by two armed bandits when they drove to Upper Ninth Avenue, Barataria, to meet a man who claimed to have a Nissan Tiida for sale.
Last Wednesday, two men and a woman were robbed when they went to Lady Young Road, Morvant, to sell a car.
