Unit­ed Na­tion­al Con­gress (UNC) Pub­lic Re­la­tions Of­fi­cer, PRO, Ani­ta Haynes has la­belled Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley “a bul­ly” who has to beg To­ba­go for for­give­ness.

Speak­ing at a UNC vir­tu­al cam­paign meet­ing last night, Haynes said Dr Row­ley is now open­ly threat­en­ing cit­i­zens, say­ing he will not for­give them if they don’t vote for him.

On Mon­day the Prime Min­is­ter made it clear that if the Pro­gres­sive De­mo­c­ra­t­ic Par­ty (PDP) led by Wat­son Duke wins, he would not for­give To­bag­o­ni­ans.

Ad­dress­ing the is­sue Haynes said, “This is the ar­ro­gance that is de­stroy­ing every­thing in our blessed coun­try to­day, threat­en­ing peo­ple say­ing you will nev­er for­give them if they don’t choose you are not the words of a leader-those are the words of an abuser.”

The UNC can­di­date for Tabaquite went on to say that first, the prime min­is­ter dam­aged the Seabridge which brought To­ba­go’s vi­tal tourism sec­tor was brought to its knees.

She said, “I want to tell Kei­th Row­ley tonight, it is you who should be on your knees beg­ging for for­give­ness. From the whole of To­ba­go and Trinidad! For­get Isas­ha, the PNM cam­paign song should be ‘Please for­give me,’ by Bryan Adams.”

Haynes said Dr Row­ley re­fus­es to ac­cept blame and ad­mit his gov­ern­ment was at fault.

She ac­cused the prime min­is­ter of “bouff­ing” every­body ex­cept Venezue­lan Pres­i­dent Nicholas Maduro.

“But he dare not say a bad thing about Maduro - a dic­ta­tor charged with Nar­co traf­fick­ing. That’s be­cause Kei­th Row­ley is a bul­ly and like all bul­lies. He is re­al­ly a cow­ard,” she said.
