An el­e­vat­ed stage may be used for the first time in years for Ch­agua­nas Car­ni­val 2025. This was an­nounced by Rene Bai­ley, the chair­man of the Ch­agua­nas Bor­ough Car­ni­val Com­mit­tee.

Bai­ley spoke with Guardian Me­dia fol­low­ing a meet­ing with stake­hold­ers at the Ch­agua­nas Bor­ough Cor­po­ra­tion’s ad­min­is­tra­tive com­plex on Mon­day night.

Bai­ley said the stage should cost close to $200,000, but she ex­pects more es­ti­mates and re­marked that the Car­ni­val com­mit­tee is work­ing ag­gres­sive­ly to­wards at­tain­ing this goal.

When cel­e­bra­tions moved from the nar­row Ch­agua­nas Main Road to Ram­saran Street the road­way was used as the pa­rade venue.
