A busi­ness­man was found mur­dered at his home yes­ter­day morn­ing.

Po­lice said Ster­ling Fran­cois was found dead at his D’Abadie home by rel­a­tives, who went look­ing for him af­ter they could not con­tact him since the pre­vi­ous day.

Fran­cois, who owned Ky­va Gen­er­al Con­trac­tors and Lan­g­ley’s Au­to Rentals, Taxi, Chauf­feur Ser­vices and Tours, and oth­er small busi­ness­es, ap­peared to have been stabbed and had chop wounds about his body.

He was pro­nounced dead on the scene by a Dis­trict Med­ical Of­fi­cer (DMO).

In­ves­ti­ga­tors are said to be search­ing for some­one known to Fran­cois, who re­port­ed­ly ac­com­pa­nied him to his home on Thurs­day evening. The in­di­vid­ual was not ar­rest­ed, up to late yes­ter­day.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing.
