Near­ly a month af­ter she and a man were wound­ed in a shoot­ing in east Port-of-Spain, Sur­rayah Har­ri­g­an suc­cumbed to gun­shot wounds ear­ly on Tues­day morn­ing.

Po­lice said Har­ri­g­an, 24, was in crit­i­cal con­di­tion up to the time of her death at the Port of Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal just af­ter 12 am on Wednes­day.

Har­ri­g­an along with 25-year-old Akeem Blugh, were shot sev­er­al times while trav­el­ling in a black Nis­san Ti­i­da from Chaf­ford Court, on­to Ox­ford Street, on the night of March 26.

Re­gion I Homi­cide in­ves­ti­ga­tors are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
