Two men are be­ing treat­ed for stab wounds af­ter they were at­tacked at bars in two sep­a­rate in­ci­dents be­tween Fri­day night and Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

In the first in­ci­dent, a 36-year-old man was lim­ing at the cor­ner of Free­man and Or­ange Grove Road, St Au­gus­tine at around 10:30 pm when he got in­to an ar­gu­ment with a man who was lim­ing at a near­by bar.

Dur­ing the ar­gu­ment, the at­tack­er pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in his neck be­fore get­ting in­to a car and speed­ing off.

Hours lat­er at around 2 am on Sat­ur­day, a 37-year-old man was lim­ing at a bar on Sec­ond Street, San Juan, when he got in­to an ar­gu­ment with an­oth­er man who stabbed him sev­er­al times.

The wound­ed man stum­bled out of the bar and on­to the pave­ment where he col­lapsed.

A pass­er-by took the man to hos­pi­tal where he was treat­ed and list­ed as be­ing in crit­i­cal con­di­tion.

Of­fi­cers of the San Juan CID vis­it­ed the scene and are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
