Two men are being treated for stab wounds after they were attacked at bars in two separate incidents between Friday night and Saturday morning.
In the first incident, a 36-year-old man was liming at the corner of Freeman and Orange Grove Road, St Augustine at around 10:30 pm when he got into an argument with a man who was liming at a nearby bar.
During the argument, the attacker pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in his neck before getting into a car and speeding off.
Hours later at around 2 am on Saturday, a 37-year-old man was liming at a bar on Second Street, San Juan, when he got into an argument with another man who stabbed him several times.
The wounded man stumbled out of the bar and onto the pavement where he collapsed.
A passer-by took the man to hospital where he was treated and listed as being in critical condition.
Officers of the San Juan CID visited the scene and are continuing enquiries.
