The Board of Directors and Secretariat of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) is mourning the death of former President Wayne Yip Choy.
The association said Wayne Yip Choy served as President and contributed to the manufacturing sector in Trinidad and Tobago. It stated that during his tenure, he supported manufacturers and worked with members of the private sector.
The TTMA said Wayne Yip Choy also served the business community in other roles. It noted that he worked with colleagues and peers across the sector and assisted others through mentorship.
The association said his work contributed to the development of the manufacturing sector and the operations of the TTMA. It stated that his leadership role included representing the association and engaging stakeholders.
It extended condolences to the family and friends of Wayne Yip Choy and to those who worked with him. It said it stands with them during this period.
The association also encouraged persons who need support to reach out to individuals or professional services.
The TTMA said Wayne Yip Choy’s contributions to the association and the manufacturing sector will remain part of its history. It stated that his service and role in the organisation will be recognised.
No details were provided on funeral arrangements.
It said it will continue its work with members and stakeholders in the manufacturing sector.
