A secondary school in Mason Hall, Tobago, has been closed following confirmation that a student at the school has tested positive for COVID-19.
Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh MP, gave the update at the Ministry’s press conference, earlier today, stating that contract tracing in that case have been completed.
He also noted that the student will be hospitalised, later today.
The secondary school student is Tobago’s second positive case in a month.
The THA’s Division of Health Wellness and Development reported over the weekend that Tobago had recorded its first positive case of COVID-19 in 30 days.
