Singing ca­lyp­so from an ear­ly age and now the reign­ing Ch­agua­nas Ca­lyp­so King, Kabeem Gra­ham is step­ping in­to the big­ger leagues as a Young Kings fi­nal­ist, with hopes of mak­ing it to the Skin­ner Park Kaiso Fi­es­ta are­na.

Gra­ham is a PNM coun­cil­lor for Pe­tit Bourg/Mt Lam­bert/Champs Fleurs.

He be­gan singing with the San Juan Po­lice Youth Club and has nev­er stopped.

Over the years, Gra­ham won the Mara­bel­la Ca­lyp­so com­pe­ti­tion and co-wrote the 2017 com­po­si­tion The Sys­tem Failed, which ad­vanced to the fi­nals.

For this year’s com­pe­ti­tion, his fea­tured tune is A Bet­ter Way.
