A 55-year-old man from South Oropouche re­mains in crit­i­cal con­di­tion fol­low­ing an al­ter­ca­tion on Mon­day night.

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands Wayne Ho­sein, of Mon De­sir Road, al­leged­ly was in a heat­ed dis­pute with a man iden­ti­fied on­ly as "Ghost", a res­i­dent of the same area.

The in­ci­dent is said to have oc­curred around 9:30 pm on Mon­day (No­vem­ber 11, 2024).

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, the ar­gu­ment be­tween the two men es­ca­lat­ed in­to phys­i­cal vi­o­lence. Dur­ing the con­fronta­tion, "Ghost" se­vere­ly beat Ho­sein, leav­ing him un­con­scious be­fore flee­ing the scene.

Ho­sein was tak­en to a near­by hos­pi­tal, where he is cur­rent­ly list­ed in crit­i­cal con­di­tion.
