There are 16 new pos­i­tive cas­es of COVID-19 record­ed in the lat­est up­date from the Min­istry of Health.

The Min­istry says these lat­est cas­es bring the na­tion­al to­tal of ac­tive cas­es to 1,824.

In ad­di­tion, the Min­istry’s re­ports states that the death toll re­mains steady at 76, with no new COVID-19 deaths record­ed for at least 48 hours.  The last death was record­ed on Wednes­day 30 Sep­tem­ber 2020.

The up­date al­so notes that the num­ber of per­sons dis­charged from pub­lic health fa­cil­i­ties is 1,079, as re­port­ed in to­day’s first re­port.

The num­ber of re­cov­ered com­mu­ni­ty cas­es al­so re­mains the same at 1,650, as was the case in to­day’s first bul­letin.
