A 53-year-old man was stabbed to death af­ter he and an­oth­er man got in­to an ar­gu­ment at an El Do­ra­do bar on Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said Ab­du­lah Reid, alias ‘Ben Boy’ was at the Gold­en City Bar, at around 2.45 pm when he got in­to an ar­gu­ment with an­oth­er man.

The own­er or­dered both Reid and the man out of his busi­ness­place. Passers-by on the street lat­er re­port­ed see­ing Reid run­ning on the road while bleed­ing from a stab wound to his neck. He even­tu­al­ly col­lapsed.

A pass­er-by took Reid to the hos­pi­tal and was es­cort­ed along the way by Tu­na­puna Po­lice. Reid was de­clared dead on ar­rival. Re­gion II Homi­cide in­ves­ti­ga­tors are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
