The Min­istry of Health has con­firmed that an­oth­er 28 per­sons have test­ed COVID-19 pos­i­tive, bring­ing the na­tion­al to­tal for ac­tive cas­es to 1,865.

How­ev­er, in its af­ter­noon up­date for to­day, Thurs­day 1 Oc­to­ber 2020, the Min­istry notes there have been no new deaths, with the death toll hold­ing at 76.

Mean­while, many cit­i­zens con­tin­ue to sur­vive COVID-19.

Ac­cord­ing to the lat­est up­date from the Min­istry, the num­ber of per­sons dis­charged from pub­lic health fa­cil­i­ties is up to 1,067; while the num­ber of re­cov­ered com­mu­ni­ty cas­es is at 1,562 per­sons.
