His last years in the Force were spent with the Air Force Air Cadets, training the next generation of pilots. Kipps’s retirement in 1988 permitted him to spend time on his second passion, golf. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Florence; daughter Mona Magalhães and her husband René Filion; grand-daughter Maïa Magalhães-Filion; sisters Rita Stanley and Maria Hasmatali, and many nieces and nephews.
