Trinida­di­an vo­cal­ist Le­An­dra Head will bring a sig­na­ture blend of clas­si­cal, con­tem­po­rary and Caribbean fu­sion mu­sic back to Stollmey­er’s Cas­tle with Le­An­dra Live– Strings and Voice II. The mu­si­cal show­case is set for April 26 at 7 pm and April 27 at 6 pm, of­fer­ing au­di­ences an evening of re­fined artistry in a his­toric set­ting.

This year’s event car­ries per­son­al sig­nif­i­cance for Le­An­dra, who has ded­i­cat­ed the per­for­mances to the mem­o­ry of her grand­fa­ther An­drew Skin­ner. A de­vot­ed sup­port­er of her ca­reer, Skin­ner passed away on March 20, 2025. Known for his un­wa­ver­ing en­cour­age­ment, he in­sist­ed on pur­chas­ing his own tick­et to her con­certs, a tes­ta­ment to his be­lief in gen­uine sup­port. His at­ten­dance at last year’s edi­tion of Le­An­dra Live–Strings and Voice re­mains a cher­ished mem­o­ry for the singer.

Fol­low­ing the sold-out suc­cess of its in­au­gur­al edi­tion, Le­An­dra Live–Strings and Voice II will fea­ture an en­sem­ble of ac­com­plished mu­si­cians, in­clud­ing:

• Ste­fan Roach–clas­si­cal gui­tarist

• Johnathon Agos­ti­ni—gui­tarist

• Eu­n­mi Choi—pi­anist

• Wa­sia Ward—cel­list

• Nari­ba Her­bert—vi­o­list

• Spe­cial guest will be Mun­gal Patasar, the world-renowned sitar mae­stro.

Le­An­dra, a clas­si­cal­ly trained vo­cal­ist with an ex­pan­sive reper­toire span­ning clas­si­cal, mu­si­cal the­atre, bossa no­va, jazz, and so­ca, has per­formed on in­ter­na­tion­al stages, in­clud­ing Por­gy and Bess in Bu­dapest. She has shared the stage with jazz leg­end Hugh Masekela and was the on­ly vo­cal­ist to per­form at the 50th an­niver­sary of diplo­mat­ic re­la­tions be­tween T&T and Chi­na, where she sang in Man­darin.

The event will be en­hanced by set de­signs from Mac­far­lane’s De­sign Stu­dios Ltd, light­ing by Celia Wells, and a gourmet ex­pe­ri­ence cu­rat­ed by Core Feed Your Need.
