The annual luncheon for graduates of Bishop Anstey High School, St Hilary’s, last Saturday, took on special meaning as this year the school is celebrating its 103rd anniversary.
The event was coordinated by Wanda Bernard and a team comprising Carolyn John, Deborah King, Shonda Moore-Howard, Joanne Dupigny, Wendy Rocke and Marguerite Moore.
Donations were received for two charitable causes—Kind for Grenada/Carriacou in aid of hurricane relief and Let’s Chair the Hall to equip the school.
Hilarians from almost every year-group attended, including 99-year-old former Biology teacher Audrey McDowall, herself a Hilarian, who was accompanied by her daughter Margaret.
Representing the new generation of Hilarians were head girl Imani Sesepkhekiu and her deputy Kelis Boucaud.
