Fete lovers turned out in their numbers for Start It Part 3, hosted by Funky Fitz Entertainment on December 28 at Skinner Park, San Fernando.
Featuring some of the hottest names heading into Carnival 2026—including Yung Bredda, Voice, Lady Lava, Christo and Dev—the event offered patrons an electrifying preview of what the season has in store. Each artiste lit up the stage with high-energy performances and soca heat that kept the crowd moving well into the night.
The festive atmosphere ensured an unforgettable experience, with dancing moko jumbies weaving through the crowd, entertaining and interacting with revellers and adding even more magic to the night.
Funky Fitz Entertainment communications officer Devon Parker said the event was designed to ignite the Carnival spirit early.
“Every Carnival season begins with a spark—a rhythm that pulls people together, a feeling that can’t be explained but only experienced. That’s exactly what our team at Funky Fitz Entertainment wanted to accomplish,” he said.
Parker added, “Coolers were allowed and patrons enjoyed themselves to the fullest. With our selection of foods such as ham, pastelle pies, soca legs and moko jumbie fish kebabs, we always aim to set the bar higher than before and establish a trend and standard our patrons have come to expect from us.”
