Fete lovers turned out in their num­bers for Start It Part 3, host­ed by Funky Fitz En­ter­tain­ment on De­cem­ber 28 at Skin­ner Park, San Fer­nan­do.

Fea­tur­ing some of the hottest names head­ing in­to Car­ni­val 2026—in­clud­ing Yung Bred­da, Voice, La­dy La­va, Chris­to and Dev—the event of­fered pa­trons an elec­tri­fy­ing pre­view of what the sea­son has in store. Each artiste lit up the stage with high-en­er­gy per­for­mances and so­ca heat that kept the crowd mov­ing well in­to the night.

The fes­tive at­mos­phere en­sured an un­for­get­table ex­pe­ri­ence, with danc­ing moko jumbies weav­ing through the crowd, en­ter­tain­ing and in­ter­act­ing with rev­ellers and adding even more mag­ic to the night.

Funky Fitz En­ter­tain­ment com­mu­ni­ca­tions of­fi­cer De­von Park­er said the event was de­signed to ig­nite the Car­ni­val spir­it ear­ly.

“Every Car­ni­val sea­son be­gins with a spark—a rhythm that pulls peo­ple to­geth­er, a feel­ing that can’t be ex­plained but on­ly ex­pe­ri­enced. That’s ex­act­ly what our team at Funky Fitz En­ter­tain­ment want­ed to ac­com­plish,” he said.

Park­er added, “Cool­ers were al­lowed and pa­trons en­joyed them­selves to the fullest. With our se­lec­tion of foods such as ham, pastelle pies, so­ca legs and moko jumbie fish ke­babs, we al­ways aim to set the bar high­er than be­fore and es­tab­lish a trend and stan­dard our pa­trons have come to ex­pect from us.”
