Stu­dio Joli, lo­cat­ed on Hen­ry-Pierre Street, St James, is cur­rent­ly fea­tur­ing the amaz­ing, en­gag­ing works of Pol­ish artist Justi­na Burkows­ka along­side the in­com­pa­ra­ble Lau­ra Fer­reira in her first ex­hib­it in more than a decade.

This lo­cal and in­ter­na­tion­al fe­male artis­tic col­lab­o­ra­tion cre­ates an eye-pop­ping show­case ex­plod­ing with colour and life.

Mo­ments cap­tured pho­to­graph­i­cal­ly in Fer­reira’s case are trans­lat­ed in­to paint­ings which come alive and awak­en the mind. Burkows­ka’s works are equal­ly en­gag­ing as she paints var­i­ous el­e­ments and scenes from T&T with her dis­cern­ing eye and re­splen­dent style and tones.

Show­cased to­geth­er, their works draw the view­er in­to the colour­ful can­vas­es.

The ex­hi­bi­tion ends to­mor­row, but with all pieces priced un­der $10,000, they will sure­ly be scooped up quick­ly by art lovers, in­te­ri­or de­sign­ers and col­lec­tors.
