Pre­pare to be trans­port­ed from the every­day to the ex­tra­or­di­nary as &5678 Dance Stu­dio presents its 2025 pro­duc­tion, Out­ta This World, a mes­meris­ing jour­ney through the cos­mos of hu­man ex­pe­ri­ence.

Set to light up the Na­pari­ma Bowl for three nights start­ing Fri­day, De­cem­ber 12, this orig­i­nal dance spec­ta­cle ex­plores themes of cu­rios­i­ty, strug­gle, and the di­vine light with­in us all.

The sto­ry be­gins in the fa­mil­iar mo­not­o­ny of dai­ly life, where a group of ex­plor­ers longs for some­thing more. Guid­ed by a mys­te­ri­ous and pow­er­ful fig­ure known on­ly as The Enig­ma, they em­bark on an ex­tra­or­di­nary voy­age in­to the far reach­es of the uni­verse.

Au­di­ences will fol­low them through breath­tak­ing ce­les­tial land­scapes—from the dream­like birth­places of stars to the ma­jes­tic realms of dis­tant plan­ets—each stage a re­flec­tion of the pow­er­ful forces that shape hu­man ex­pe­ri­ence.

Yet the jour­ney is not with­out chal­lenges. The ex­plor­ers must con­front the haunt­ing shad­ows of space and their own in­ner doubts, nav­i­gat­ing a trans­for­ma­tive path from de­spair to hope, dark­ness to light.

The sto­ry cul­mi­nates in a pro­found rev­e­la­tion about their place in the cos­mos, of­fer­ing a spir­i­tu­al and vi­su­al ex­pe­ri­ence that res­onates with the hu­man spir­it.

“Out­ta This World is more than a dance show; it’s a spir­i­tu­al and vi­su­al ex­pe­ri­ence,” said Char­lene Har­ris, Founder and artis­tic di­rec­tor of &5678 Dance Stu­dio.

“We are us­ing the uni­ver­sal lan­guage of move­ment to tell a sto­ry that we be­lieve res­onates deeply—the search for mean­ing, the con­fronta­tion with doubt, and the ul­ti­mate, beau­ti­ful re­al­i­sa­tion that we are all con­nect­ed, we are all loved, and we are all, in our own way, out­ta this world.”

The pro­duc­tion promis­es to be a feast for the sens­es, blend­ing bal­let, con­tem­po­rary, mod­ern, Afro-Caribbean, and Hip-Hop styles with elab­o­rate cos­tumes, in­no­v­a­tive light­ing, and a sweep­ing mu­si­cal score. Every el­e­ment has been craft­ed to im­merse the au­di­ence in this cos­mic para­ble.
